VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Drivers Our drivers provide more than just skillful driving. They provide children of varied backgrounds the opportunity to attend appointments, camp experiences, and visits which are vital to their development and growth. They also provide support and encouragement to adults who are in need of transportation to medical appointments, family visits, summer camp, etc. Various times and hours
Special Friends Special Friends develop a personal relationship with a child in order to build his or her self-esteem, get him or her involved in the community and provide a positive role model. Various times and hours
Clerical Support Volunteers assist with preparing mailings, resource materials, photocopying, etc. Various times and hours
Special Event Volunteers Provide assistance for occasional/short term family focused events which are offered in the community, e.g. organizing a craft area for children and their families, mall displays, etc. Various times and hours
Board Members Our Board of Directors is made up of volunteers who are concerned about the safety of children and the support of families where children are at risk.

Volunteers are recognized and respected as playing a vital role in assisting The Children's Aid Society of Brant to accomplish its goal: safe, nurtured children in families and in their own communities. Volunteers offer an enrichment to the services provided by agency staff to children and families in Brant County.
